Честит Международен ден на младежта!

Upon an invitation, we visited Kriva Palanka and Osogovska Planina, where a meeting was held to promote traditional production as an opportunity to attract young people to develop activities in rural areas.

I met many nice people at this event. Felt like I went on a family picnic over the weekend. It felt so good to be on the mountain, sitting in the shade of the trees, eating home-cooked meals, and getting fresh air.

The food was great as you can see. I ate it up. I tried the Macedonian raki and I still think the Serbian raki is stronger. The pastries were delicious. White wine with lemonade was my favorite. Dairy products were similar to what I ate in Turkey. I also tried a drink made from milk that tastes like Ayran but is not.

The hosts were very warm and friendly people. They gave us homemade soap and food as gifts on the way. Thank you for this invitation and the good time I had.

Another Stop: Kriva Palanka

Since we had time, we stopped by another city. This place is also known as the city of sculptures. We drank Ottoman coffee, visited tourist areas, took pictures, and ate beans in a casserole. What more could I ask for?
